Econo Inn

From reading all recent and past reviews I really don’t see an issue with this place! Currently staying here as we speak, room smelled nice as I walked in, cleaned up very well. Bathroom was clean, everything is clean. No smoke smell at all. For the price you cannot beat it. I’ve been in wayyyy worse motels/hotels and this is very nice for the price of rooms. Anyone else leaving a negative review must have only stayed in luxury hotels lol. If you’re needing a quick place to stay or on a budget don’t get scared away because of the reviews. They take care of the rooms here. All linens are clean as well! I hope my review can help some folks out because it’s not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Excellent hotel, friendly hard working staff, the rooms are clean and tidy, very affordable nightly rates, and there is a very good japanese resteraunt next door. This is a great hotel, and they do a great job. Lord bless!

It was a chaotic warm place to sleep at night for cheap price of 120 30 of it you get back when you check out without any complaints or damages. Mrs Shin, (owner)is someone I truly admire for someone her size she sure knows how to hold her house down

Barbara and staff are the most accommodating folk! I had to leave luggage for an entire week and would have paid LOADS at the air port or train station! They saved me from a very difficult situation with no convincing, I just had to ask. All of my items were still in tact and in sorted through, it could have easily caught the curiosity of anyone! But it stayed safe! I also stayed the night here. It is one of the least expensive places we found in anchorage. The water is hot and the room came with a mini fridge whaaa?!?!! Great experience.

When i first stayed they threw all my belongings in the garbage. I didn't like that the window was broken on the third floor. Mason is really conversational and kind hearted; giving me some ramen noodles and muffin. Mason asked if i wanted to massage him ans he had called about 3 times to ask me if i was alright. And had knocked on my door twice. All rooms have fans and room 210 doesnt have a phone. They have an atm right in the front and vending machine. Some rooms smell better than others. The suite has ripped leather and the stove smokes. sometimes the rooms not even done.the rooms arent sound proof sone guy is playing with the chair up stairs. Then the girls at the front are boisterous and theyve got a poodle

It's not in the best part of town but it served my purposes on a budget. Everything worked. It's a vintage building and "econo" is the key word! Staff was friendly, quickly brought me supplies when I asked for them. Bed was clean and comfortable. There's an airport shuttle, though I didn't use it as I had a car, and parking was free also. I kinda admire the fact they seem fairly tolerant of those less fortunate in the area. As a pretty low maintenance traveler, I enjoyed my stay in Anchorage.

Awesome service. Front desk was amazing. Rooms were awesome. My boyfriend and I loved it there.

Average hotel and best price I could find, so yeah, run of the mill. Basics are covered, and staff will get what you need but you will most likely have to ask vs assume at 5 star hotel.

This is truly one of the hotel experiences I've ever had. First, the hotel itself was the most clean and extravagant place I'd ever been to. Additionally, the staff were efficient and friendly, especially the person at the front desk. He may have charged me $75 extra but that was fine. The other residents were great too(and certainly not questionable in any way whatsoever). 10/10 would go here again.

The room was descent enough. They stayed up late to facilitate late check in. Parking could have been a bit more lit. Bathroom was not good. Bathroom floor was not clean. There was no drinking water outlet. Beds were clean. Location was convenient.
